The data held on our customers and contacts is limited to strictly essential data, required to ensure we can effectively deliver our services to you. With this in mind, our lawful basis for processing this data is contractual. Without it, we cannot contact you, therefore preventing us from providing our services to you.
Access To Your Data
All of our customers have direct access to their own data held by us, as well as the ability to correct any inaccurate information.

Legislative regulations also give you the right to portability of the data we hold. We therefore, if you require, can provide a Microsoft Excel document containing said data.
Removal Of Your Data
You also have to the right to request the removal of your data if you are no longer a customer of Rigid Design. All personal data is automatically removed within 6 months of terminating services with us. Some data, for accounting purposes, is retained but as specified, all personal data is removed after this period.

To allow us to assist some of our customers in various other online services, some of you entrust personal credentials onto us. Rest assured, ALL of this data is stored encrypted, and is only accessible decrypted via a single software program written by ourselves. Only Rigid Design has access to this software. Data Collected By This Website
The data taken via any online forms on this website is used solely to process the enquiry. As stated above, our lawful basis to process this data is contractual. We use this data to allow us to process your query.
Once the data is received in our mailbox, it is transferred into our secure CRM, and the original email deleted. Data is held in our CRM for a maximum of 6 months, unless the enquiry leads into a sale.
All of this data is transmitted via an encrypted connection.
Our OAuth / Social Login API
When logging-in to any Rigid Design website platform using your social media username and password, you understand, recognise and consent to our collection of some of the following personal data for the sole purposes of account creation, maintenance, personalisation and to improve your user experience.
Your details shall NEVER be sold, given or passed-on to a third party without your prior authorisation to do so.

The exact data collected in the above list varies, dependant on the platform you choose to login using. For example, the data "User Likes" is only obtained via the Facebook platform.

Our website is integrated with several third-party software applications, for the purposes of networking, performance and security monitoring.
All of these third party processors collect data that is not identifiable. Examples of data collected are the type of device your are using, the internet browser, the operating system and the geographical location. Google Analytics is a web analytics service that provides statistics and analytical tools for website performance and search engine optimisation (SEO). The information gathered by this tool is considered personal information and in part, is affected by GDPR.
The data collected is held solely in our Google accounts, and for the minimum available retention period, currently 14 months. Only Rigid Design has access to these accounts.

AddThis Share Buttons
Our website also includes the AddThis share buttons software application, allowing website visitors to share the currently viewed webpage, amongst various networks.
At their most basic level, share buttons allow website visitors to share what they like via social media - be it content, products or services.
Any data collected is held solely in our AddThis accounts, and for up to a maximum of 24 months.
